The functional Solid Gear Dynamo GTX occupational shoes offer a unique combination of support and cushioning. Footwear without safety components should be worn at workplaces where neither a safety toe cap nor a puncture-resistant sole is required.
These stylish, sporty shoes are designed for work, everyday street wear, long walks and running. Lightweight, comfortable and supportive, they have an ergonomic insole, a soft ETPU midsole, a grippy rubber outsole, a convenient BOA® dial fastening and a Gore-tex® membrane for waterproof protection.
The lightweight Solid Gear Dynamo GTX shoes are well suited to workplaces where no safety toe cap or puncture protection is required but where there is a great deal of walking on level or slightly uneven surfaces. Their good shock absorption and supportive sole also make them suitable for running – the longer the distance, the better.
The sole’s subtle, burnished colour effect adds a distinctive touch and style.
New construction
The narrower-cut construction supports and secures the foot both beneath the sole and around the heel. The stabilising heel support and stiffer sole are particularly useful on uneven ground, helping prevent the foot from twisting and reducing fatigue through stronger support.
Functional sole
Dynamo GTX uses a specially developed OrthoLite® insole made from highly resilient PU foam, produced mainly from recycled materials (old fishing nets collected from the oceans).
The airy yet durable ETPU sole reduces fatigue and prevents injuries. ETPU is an exceptionally durable, long-lasting, light, elastic microplastic foam with a unique structure that very effectively absorbs and releases impact energy generated by each step. It resembles popcorn made from expanded thermoplastic PU. Lightweight, shock-absorbing, particularly durable, soft and comfortable underfoot, ETPU is an excellent material for sole components in sports and work footwear.
The thin antistatic (A) rubber outsole layer provides good slip resistance (SRC), grip, and resistance to fuels and oils (FO).
Durable CORDURA® and waterproof GORE-TEX® Stretch
The uppers are made from Cordura® Ripstop fabric, which is light, flexible and breathable yet strong, durable and tear-resistant. A high-quality mesh lining supports air circulation on the inside. Waterproof GORE-TEX® Stretch Technology keeps feet dry while allowing air to circulate.
Reliable and durable Boa® dial fastening
The innovative Boa® fastening system improves the shoes’ security, stability, ease of use, durability and safety. There are no loose laces to catch on objects. Boa® is extremely reliable and has been tested in the most extreme conditions: water and sand, mud and dust, cold and heat. Putting the shoes on and taking them off is quick and easy. Boa® secures the shoes evenly and precisely to the foot and maintains the set tension throughout the working day. The strong steel cable consists of 49 extremely fine stainless-steel strands protected by a durable nylon coating. The Boa® dial fastening is covered by a warranty for the lifetime of the footwear.
