Waterproof protection against rain and sleet

The parka is designed to protect against rain and sleet (EN 343).

The laminated outer fabric forms a protective layer against the weather, and all seams are taped. The front zip is covered by a storm flap with press-stud fastening for additional protection against wind and rain.

Stretch Sorona® fabric

The parka's outer fabric is made from Sorona® polyester. Sorona® is an advanced polymer fibre made partly from plant-based raw materials. The elastic fabric stretches with movement and then returns to its original shape. Sorona® is also soft, breathable and resistant to stains and creasing.

The outer fabric stretches in two directions and the inner lining in four directions, allowing the parka to move with the body.

CORDURA® reinforcements have been added to areas exposed to greater wear to improve durability.

REPREVE® insulation

The parka's insulation is light and thin but offers effective thermal insulation. Most of the insulation is made from REPREVE® polyester, and the parka's cold protection complies with EN 342.

REPREVE® polyester is made from recycled plastic bottles. Its manufacture places emphasis on ensuring that recycled fibres retain their quality and that the resulting garments are durable. A long service life also helps reduce a product's environmental impact.

The insulation consists of 90% REPREVE® polyester, 5% polyester and 5% recycled polyester.

Power Pocket phone pocket with cold protection

Cold weather also affects phone batteries. The parka therefore features a dedicated Power Pocket phone pocket with PrimaLoft® Gold Aerogel insulation, which helps protect the battery from the cold and extend its operating time at low temperatures.

This is a practical feature for work where a phone must remain close at hand and outdoor duties continue regardless of the weather.

Thoughtful protection and practical details

The parka's details are designed to maintain freedom of movement while keeping cold, wind and moisture away from the body.

Pre-bent sleeves support the arms' natural movements.

Inner elastic cuffs with thumbholes help prevent cold air from entering the sleeves.

The high fleece-lined collar provides additional protection for the neck against cold and wind.

The detachable hood can be adjusted to suit the wearer and weather conditions. An extended back provides extra coverage even when bending, while the 3D mesh lining improves airflow and breathability inside the jacket.

The parka offers ample storage. Outside are two zipped side pockets, two patch pockets and a zipped chest pocket with an ID card holder. Inside are a chest pocket with pen compartments, a mesh pocket and an additional pocket.

Hi-Vis Class 3 visibility

This warm, waterproof stretch parka is designed for work in cold, wet conditions. It combines weather protection, freedom of movement and high visibility, meeting the highest visibility class, Class 3, under EN ISO 20471.

The parka has a bright main colour and numerous segmented reflective strips. Two strips run around the torso, two around the sleeves and two over the shoulders. This arrangement helps maintain visibility in different working positions, including when bending.

In addition to enhancing visibility, the segmented reflective strips allow the garment greater flexibility.
