Sporty, lightweight and comfortable

These trainer-style shoes with protective components have a sporty design while offering the durability and protection expected of work footwear. A lightweight construction combined with carefully chosen materials and technologies means the shoes do not put excessive strain on the feet even during a long working day, while looking like casual footwear.

Comfort is supported by the breathable upper material, moisture-regulating lining and soft, shock-absorbing insole. This makes the footwear well suited to environments that involve extensive movement and continuous strain on the feet. The sporty design and practical features strike a balance that supports work without excessive fatigue.

Nitrogenium sole technology

What sets these shoes apart is the new Nitrogenium sole technology. This Cofra model is made using an innovative process in which the sole material is expanded with supercritical nitrogen. The result is a sole that combines durability, flexibility and low weight.

The sole retains its shape and properties even under prolonged, intensive use. Its elastic material absorbs shocks and returns energy, helping to reduce fatigue, for example when working on hard surfaces. At the same time, the shoes are significantly lighter than conventional designs without compromising durability or protection.

Innovative breathable upper material

The upper is made from an innovative breathable fabric. This increases comfort when the shoes are worn continuously for long periods. The seamless construction gives the shoes a clean, high-quality finish.

The sole is made from supercritical foam and nitrile rubber. The outsole layer consists of durable nitrile rubber and withstands heat (contact at up to 300 °C for 1 minute).

OXY-LINER lining and Light Foam ESD insole

The lining is made from OXY-LINER polyester fabric. This three-dimensional, breathable material absorbs and releases moisture, helping to keep the foot drier and reduce discomfort during intensive work or prolonged wear.

The lining resists abrasion, making it well suited to work footwear worn every day in demanding conditions.

The Light Foam ESD insole is made from exceptionally soft, comfortable, scented polyurethane foam. The insole has low electrical resistance and is suitable for ESD footwear.

The perforated insole is anatomically shaped and supports the arch of the foot. Its abrasion-resistant fabric covering absorbs moisture and helps keep the foot dry. The insole provides comfort and shock absorption, particularly important when working on hard surfaces or wearing the shoes throughout the working day.

Boa® quick fastening

The Boa® Fit System quick-fastening system on these trainer-style shoes allows fast, precise and convenient adjustment. It consists of a micro-adjustable dial, a strong, lightweight lace and abrasion-resistant guides.

The dial allows the fastening to be adjusted in very small increments. The lightweight yet extremely strong lace provides reliability, while the guides ensure smooth movement each time it is used.

Boa® helps achieve an even, personalised fit throughout the working day. The system has been tested in dust, sand and dirt.

The Boa® quick-fastening system is covered by a warranty for the lifetime of the footwear.

Metal-free protective components and wide last

The footwear has a Fiberclass Cap fibreglass safety toe cap that withstands an impact energy of 200 J. The fibreglass toe protection has good mechanical properties under both impact and static loads.

The toe protection is non-magnetic, heat-insulating and thinner in profile. It is also lighter than steel toe protection, weighing 60 g compared with 90 g for a steel toe cap.

The upper material over the toe area is reinforced.

A puncture-resistant FPT midsole made from tough yet lightweight, flexible textile protects the foot against sharp objects on the ground.
