Techshell fabric uppers

Innovative TechShell material is strong and durable yet flexible and lightweight. Water-repellent (WRU) and breathable TechShell has a highly abrasion-resistant silicone structure woven directly into the fabric. Tests show that the previous record-holder for abrasion and tear resistance, Cordura®, has been overtaken by COFRA's innovative material.

Shoes with textile uppers are considerably lighter than leather shoes.

Boa® quick fastening system

The Boa® fastening system improves security, stability, ease of use, durability and safety. There are no loose laces that could catch on anything.

Boa® has been tested in the most extreme conditions: water and sand, mud and dust, cold and heat. The shoes are quick and easy to put on and take off. Boa® adjusts evenly and precisely to the foot and maintains the selected tension throughout the working day.

The strong steel cable consists of 49 extremely fine stainless-steel strands with a durable nylon coating. The Boa® dial fastening system is covered by a warranty for the lifetime of the shoes.

Sany-Dry® lining

Sany-Dry® lining is a thin, breathable, three-dimensional polyester fabric that absorbs and wicks away moisture. Its high abrasion resistance helps maintain an optimal microclimate inside the shoes.

FOOT-PAD ESD is an exceptionally soft and comfortable insole with low electrical resistance. Very low-density polyurethane allows the insole to adapt to the foot, distributing body weight correctly and providing immediate comfort. The highly elastic material absorbs impacts effectively and cushions the centre of the heel.

The PU/TPU outsole

The polyurethane/thermoplastic polyurethane outsole contains recycled rubber granules and has low electrical resistance.

Aluminium toe cap, 200 J

The toes are protected by a lightweight yet strong aluminium toe cap.

APT PLUS penetration-resistant midsole

The flexible, lightweight midsole provides effective protection against nail penetration.
