Safety shoes with water-repellent full-grain leather uppers and a breathable textile lining.
The EVANIT footbed is made from E.V.A and special nitrile compounds. The outer sole layer resists oils and milder chemicals.
The metal-free safety shoes have a composite toe cap (200 J) and a textile APT penetration-resistant insert.
Full-grain leather uppers give these shoes several key benefits: water repellency, breathability and flexibility. These natural properties also make the shoes more durable, as full-grain leather withstands many more bending cycles before cracking than split leather covered with a PU layer, for example. The latter’s PU coating provides short-term protection against moisture but quickly crumbles.
Beneath the breathable textile lining is a quick-drying DryTherm layer made from 100% polyamide fabric. Its ability to absorb and wick away moisture helps feet stay fresh for longer. DryTherm fabric is abrasion-resistant, breathable and antibacterial.
The soft but supportive EVANIT footbed is made from E.V.A and special nitrile compounds. The thermoformed footbed varies in thickness (12, 8 and 3.8 mm) according to the ergonomic needs of the foot.
The PU/TPU outsole layer resists oils and milder chemicals.
A strong composite safety toe cap protects the toes against falling objects, while a flexible, lightweight textile penetration-resistant insert (APT Plate – Zero Perforation) provides protection from sharp edges, protruding nails and other hazards underfoot.
