Gloves with palms of full-grain cowhide and backs and cuffs of split cowhide are extremely comfortable and durable, providing excellent hand protection for hot-work and welding tasks.

Compared with gloves with goatskin palms (item 44-326), cowhide gloves are thicker, stronger and more durable, but provide slightly less tactile sensitivity.

The back and cuff (25 cm long) are made from split cowhide because it protects better against sparks. Cotton lining gives better heat protection and a more comfortable feel. The thumb is reinforced where abrasion is greatest.

These gloves are sewn throughout with heat-resistant Kevlar thread. Seams are turned inwards and protected by inserted leather strips to extend the gloves’ service life.

Overall, these are excellent welding gloves that provide protection and improve working comfort.

Similar gloves with full cotton lining throughout the entire glove are also available: welding gloves item 44-324. They provide the same excellent features and, thanks to the extra lining in the palm, better protection when handling hot objects.
