Durable helmet designed for 10 years of use

Intelligent design, carefully considered functionality, strict manufacturing requirements and continuous monitoring ensure protection that exceeds the minimum requirements laid down in the standards.

This KASK helmet is made from high-quality materials. Its shell is made from exceptionally strong yet lightweight HD polypropylene, allowing use over a wide temperature range, from 50°C heat to -30°C cold. It also resists UV radiation well. For example, the white helmet does not yellow over time.

Inside the helmet is an impact-absorbing inner shell made from high-density HD polystyrene foam (impact absorption on top, both sides, the front and rear), as well as straps made from soft yet tough PA nylon.

KASK helmets carry a 3-year warranty, and a well-maintained helmet lasts 10 years. When not working, store the helmet in a dedicated bag (which can be bought together with the helmet). Do not leave the helmet in the sun! Although its UV resistance is very good, exposure to sunlight can still shorten its useful life.

Replace the helmet immediately if something has fallen onto it. Fit a new helmet even if the existing one appears undamaged after the impact. Invisible microcracks may have developed in the shell, meaning the helmet may no longer provide effective protection next time.

Replace the helmet as well if it has fallen or if damage to the shell is noticed during a routine visual inspection.

Effective protection (EN397 + EN12492*)

All industrial safety helmets must meet the basic requirements of EN397. In addition to the mandatory requirements, this KASK helmet meets several optional requirements, such as material resistance to low temperatures (down to -30°C).

Additional tests have been carried out in accordance with EN12492, providing, among other things, verified impact protection on both sides and at the front and rear of the helmet. Effective ventilation and resistance to penetration have also been demonstrated.

Ventilated, lightweight and comfortable

This KASK helmet is lightweight (390 g) and stays securely on the head. Wearing it for extended periods does not strain the neck or cause headaches or other discomfort.

The helmet shell has 10 openings to admit air. Internal channels also help carry excess heat away from beneath the helmet.

Adjust the helmet fastening using the dial at the back of the head; it is simple and convenient. The fine adjustment steps make it possible to set the circumference particularly accurately (51 – 63 cm).

The shaped rear section adds comfort and prevents the helmet from shifting when looking upwards. The short peak does not obstruct the field of vision but provides optimal protection against the sun. The breathable, quick-drying textile inner padding is washable and replaceable.

Slim chinstrap with four-point attachment

The chinstrap with four-point attachment can be adjusted at five points, and fastening and releasing it is quick and easy. A small loop on the chinstrap allows the helmet to be attached to a safety harness or similar equipment.

Always fasten the chinstrap when wearing the helmet, including when working at ground level!

Option to attach accessories

KASK offers a complete solution for those who need to protect not only the head but also the ears, eyes, face or all of them at once in the workplace. A lamp can be attached for working in the dark. A neck protector can also be fitted to the rear edge of the helmet.

Accessories can be mounted on the helmet using adapters, which must be purchased separately.
