Durable helmet designed for 10 years of use

Smart design, carefully considered functionality, strict manufacturing requirements and continuous monitoring ensure protection that substantially exceeds the minimum requirements set by the standards and also meets additional standards.

This KASK helmet is made from high-quality materials. Its shell of exceptionally strong yet lightweight HD polypropylene allows use over a wide temperature range, from 50°C heat to -30°C cold, and offers excellent resistance to UV radiation. The helmet does not yellow over time.

Inside the helmet is a shock-absorbing liner made from high-density HD polystyrene foam (impact absorption at the top, both sides, front and rear), together with straps made from soft yet tough PA nylon.

KASK helmets come with a 3-year warranty, and a well-maintained helmet lasts 10 years. When not in use, store the helmet in a dedicated bag (which can be purchased together with the helmet). Do not leave the helmet standing in direct sunlight! Although its UV resistance is very good, sunlight can nevertheless shorten its service life.

Replace the helmet immediately if something has fallen onto it, even if it appears undamaged. Invisible microcracks may have formed in the shell, meaning it might not provide effective protection against falling objects next time. The helmet must also be replaced after a severe fall or if serious damage is noticed during regular visual inspection.

Maximum protection (EN397 + EN50365, class 0 + EN12492)

All industrial safety helmets must comply with EN397. In addition to the mandatory requirements, this KASK helmet meets several optional requirements, including resistance of the materials to low temperatures (down to -30°C), resistance to lateral deformation and protection against molten metal splashes.

The helmet also complies with EN50365 (class 0), and additional testing has been carried out in accordance with EN12492. Among other things, this provides additional impact protection on both sides, at the front and at the rear of the helmet and verifies the effectiveness of the retention system.

Hi-Vis elements

Reflective elements on the helmet shell improve visibility when illuminated in dark surroundings. A lamp can also be attached easily for work in the dark.

Ventilated, lightweight and exceptionally comfortable – an excellent fit

This KASK helmet is lightweight (460 g) and stays securely in place. Wearing it for extended periods does not tire the neck or cause headaches or other discomfort. The helmet remains unobtrusive throughout the working day, allowing 100% focus on the task at hand.

The helmet shell has 14 air inlet openings, designed to prevent dirt from entering. Internal channels also direct excess heat out from under the helmet. Excellent ventilation delivers real comfort at work.

Adjust the fastenings around the head and under the chin for an excellent fit. The rear adjustment dial makes this easy and convenient. Its fine adjustment increments allow the circumference to be set particularly accurately for each head (52 – 63 cm). The position of the rear head support can also be moved up or down to suit the shape of the head (Ergo Fit System). The helmet also adapts very well to larger heads.

Comfort is enhanced by soft, breathable textile padding that dries quickly and can be washed and replaced. The shaped rear section prevents the helmet from shifting when looking upwards, while the short peak maintains a clear field of vision and provides optimum protection from the sun.

Slim chinstrap with four-point attachment

The new, slimmer four-point chinstrap can be adjusted at five points and is quick and easy to fasten and release. A small loop on the chinstrap allows the helmet to be attached to a safety harness or similar equipment.

Always fasten the chinstrap when wearing the helmet, even when working at ground level!

Accessories attach without adapters

KASK offers an integrated solution for workers who also need to protect their hearing, eyes or face – or all of these at once. A lamp can also be attached for work in the dark, and a neck protector can be fitted to the rear edge of the helmet.

An important advantage is that earmuffs can be fitted to this helmet without an adapter, a visor attaches directly to the helmet, and a lamp can be mounted without a headband. For lamps with an elastic headband, the helmet has special retaining slots to keep the band firmly in place. The same slots also include attachment points for corded earplugs.
