Hand-forged CO₂-neutral axe head
The Dvardala axe head is hand-forged in Sweden at the Hults Bruk forge, whose traditions date back to 1697. It is made from Swedish carbon-neutral steel, weighs 0.7 kg and is designed to last a lifetime – backed by a lifetime warranty on the head.
Semi-straight cutting edge with Scandinavian grind
The axe has a semi-straight, broad cutting edge with a polished, exceptionally sharp Scandinavian grind, ready for immediate use. The grind allows precise woodwork and makes the axe suitable for both fine cuts and lighter forestry tasks.
Short, comfortable 440 mm hickory handle
The axe handle is made from American hickory. The 440 mm handle is treated with linseed oil and, thanks to its compact size, fits easily into a rucksack. The short handle allows work close to the body, for example when carving or preparing firewood.
Durable vegetable-tanned leather blade cover
The attractive, durable blade cover is made in Sweden from Swedish cattle hide that has been vegetable-tanned, sewn and finished with consideration for the environment. Full-grain leather ages beautifully and protects the blade over a long period.
Strong and versatile – for chopping and carving
The Dvardala axe combines the advantages of several axe types. It can be used to clear paths, perform precise work at camp, split firewood and even process game. Its slightly thicker cheeks improve splitting performance.
Lifetime warranty on the axe head
The Dvardala axe emphasises durability and high-quality craftsmanship. Confidence in the product is such that the axe head carries a lifetime warranty – a tool designed to last for years and generations.
