COFRA SPOOL safety boots ESD S3 SRC
These new premium mid-cut COFRA safety boots suit people who walk and move extensively at work. The extremely durable Techshell upper is both breathable and water-repellent, while the convenient Boa fastening system and self-moulding insole make the boots an excellent choice for the season. The robust outsole has an innovative design that absorbs shocks and creates a forward-propelling effect when walking.
Innovative TECHSHELL material
These shoes are especially durable thanks to the innovative TECHSHELL material, with a silicone structure woven into the fabric. Abrasion and tear resistance tests show that Cordura®, previously the record holder, has been overtaken by COFRA's innovative material. The water-repellent (WRU) uppers are also lightweight, flexible and breathable.
3D inner lining
Inside, the shoes feature a SANY DRY® 3D lining made from 100% polyester. It is quick-drying, breathable and antibacterial. The abrasion-resistant lining absorbs moisture and wicks it away.
Functional sole
The FOOT-PAD insole is exceptionally soft and comfortable and also has low electrical resistance (ESD). Thanks to very low-density polyurethane, the footbed moulds to the foot, distributing body weight appropriately and providing immediate comfort. Special shock-absorbing cushioning under the heel protects the feet and adds comfort.
The new penetration-resistant midsole (P), made of strong APT textile with low electrical resistance, is now impenetrable even by nails with a diameter of 3 mm. It is also lightweight, flexible and protects the entire sole of the foot.
The lightweight and flexible PU/TPU outsole has low electrical resistance (ESD). The durable polyurethane sole is oil-resistant (FO) and slip-resistant (SRC), and features a self-cleaning tread. Its newly designed heel absorbs impacts, while the raised rear heel generates propulsion to make walking easier. A wider heel contact area reduces the risk of slipping, while the tread provides grip even on wet surfaces.
A strong yet lightweight aluminium safety toe cap (B) adds protection.
Reliable, long-lasting Boa® dial fastening system
The innovative Boa® fastening system adds security, stability, ease of use, durability and safety. There are no loose laces to snag on objects. Boa® has been tested in the most extreme conditions: water and sand, mud and dust, cold and heat. Putting the shoes on and taking them off is quick and easy. Boa® secures the shoes evenly and precisely around the foot and maintains the set tension throughout the working day. The strong steel cable consists of 49 extremely fine stainless-steel strands protected by a durable nylon coating. The Boa® dial fastening system is covered by a warranty for the lifetime of the shoes.
ESD
Suitable for use in the electronics industry or anywhere footwear with low electrical resistance is required (electrical resistance ranging from 0.75 to 100). The insole, penetration-resistant midsole and outsole of this shoe all carry the ESD designation.
Useful information
Reinforcements at the heel and toe help extend the life of the footwear. Nevertheless, work shoes must not be used as tools: do not kick or strike objects into place, push aside large or heavy items or place weights on the toe cap. Such treatment can quickly damage otherwise durable shoes. Safety footwear is not intended for this kind of use. Cleaning and maintaining the shoes is equally important and helps extend their service life.
