Wool terry (Ullfrotte Original) is a warm, durable and easy-care merino wool fabric developed in 1970 in collaboration with the Swedish army to keep soldiers warm at remote camps in northern Sweden. The fabric has a smooth, hard-wearing outer surface and terry loops on the inside that retain plenty of body heat.
Wool terry has many advantages: it retains heat exceptionally well, breathes, does not itch, needs less frequent washing, resists perspiration odours, can withstand washing at 60 degrees, is durable and keeps the wearer warm even when wet, to name just a few.
