Exceptionally lightweight, warm and comfortable

These exceptionally light winter boots (only 483 g, size 42) are comfortable to wear and very warm thanks to their fluffy pile lining. The uppers combine water-repellent synthetic leather and water-repellent mesh, with a waterproof HyperTex® membrane underneath.

Waterproof HyperTex® membrane

The next-generation HyperTex® membrane prevents water from entering the footwear while providing good breathability. The PFAS-free membrane is lightweight and effective.

Boa® quick-fastening system

Boa® makes putting on and taking off footwear quick and easy. It improves both ease of use and safety. There are no loose laces to catch on objects, making the footwear easier than ever to put on and remove. Boa® is strong and reliable, and simple to operate: lift the dial to release the cable. Put on the boot, press the dial in and turn it towards the outside of the foot until the boot is securely fastened. The Boa® cable does not release or loosen by itself during the working day.

NestFit® last

Most footwear is made on lasts shaped according to a design developed by the first shoemakers hundreds of years ago. Treksta carried out a large-scale study (mapping the feet of 20 000 people) and created revolutionary NestFit technology, which enabled the development of a new last. It follows the natural shape of the foot, accounting for differences in toe length and height as well as the foot’s actual curvature.

HyperGrip outsole

The HyperGrip™ outsole, with its special structure and braking IceLock elements, provides good grip in snowy conditions.

The innovative Hypergrip™ sole is abrasion-resistant and provides excellent traction. Footwear manufacturers face a choice when developing boot outsoles: durability or outstanding grip. A soft rubber compound offers better grip but wears more quickly; conversely, a longer-lasting material does not grip as well.

Treksta refused to make that compromise, developing patented Hypergrip™ technology with a rubber compound that performs well in both abrasion resistance and grip. The Hypergrip™ outsole helps maintain balance in wet and dry conditions. It offers excellent abrasion resistance, strength and stability while remaining very light.

IceLock™ elements

IceLock™ technology provides slip resistance on icy and wet surfaces. The rough-surfaced, black-and-grey striped lugs under the sole are made from a special rubber compound containing electrostatically aligned glass microfibres. This creates better friction to resist slipping between the shoe and the ground and offers good wear resistance.

I.S.T independent suspension technology

I.S.T (Independent Suspencion Technology) makes these boots unique. They are the only boots whose soles incorporate a suspension function derived from the automotive industry. This supports the feet on uneven terrain: different sections of the outsole move independently of each other, helping maintain balance. I.S.T has also received an international industrial innovation award.

Without safety components

Treksta Hercules winter boots have no safety components and are suitable for workplaces where such components are not required. They are also excellent winter boots for leisure wear.
