Goatskin is thinner than other animal leather, providing better tactile sensitivity while still offering very good resistance to abrasion and wear for its thickness.

The well-fitting gloves are comfortable and breathable. Working barehanded might feel most comfortable, but hands need protection from workplace hazards. High-quality leather gloves come closest to a barehanded feel. Leather naturally conforms to the shape of the hand, making the gloves feel like a second skin.

We also offer the 44-341 gloves in a similar cut but made from full-grain animal leather. These may be worth trying if greater strength and durability matter more than tactile sensitivity. That leather is thicker than goatskin and therefore lasts longer, but offers less tactile sensitivity.
