Very thin and breathable 18 G knit
TAMREX DuraFoam work gloves are made from thin 18 G (Gauge) knitted polyamide and spandex fabric.
Gauge indicates the knitting density of the material, i.e. the number of stitches or needles per inch. The higher the Gauge number, the finer and denser the glove knit:
- 10 G – coarser, thicker knit;
- 13 G – a fairly standard thin work glove;
- 15 G – finer knit with better finger sensitivity;
- 18 G – an exceptionally fine, thin knit for outstanding tactile sensitivity and handling precision.
TAMREX DuraFoam gloves are exceptionally thin, breathable and flexible, and suitable for precise tasks.
Nitrile foam palm coating
The palms have a flexible nitrile foam coating. It provides a protective layer for the thin, flexible glove, giving good grip and abrasion resistance.
Good tactile sensitivity
The thin material provides excellent tactile sensitivity. It allows accurate handling of tools and components, making the gloves suitable for precision tasks where finger mobility and control are important.
Good grip and abrasion resistance
The nitrile foam palm coating provides good grip and abrasion resistance. The gloves combine the sensitivity needed for precision work with practical durability.
Touchscreen compatible
The fingertips work with touchscreens, allowing devices to be operated without taking off the gloves during work.
DMF- and silicone-free
DMF (dimethylformamide) is a solvent used, among other things, in polyurethane production and processing. It can have properties that are harmful to the skin when hands come into contact with it.
DMF-free gloves give you the certainty that the skin on your hands will not be damaged, even when the gloves are worn for a long time.
Silicone-free gloves have several advantages, particularly where silicone residue can compromise the quality of production processes. Such residue can cause problems during surface painting, varnishing, bonding or other work where absolute surface cleanliness is important.
Silicone-free gloves reduce the risk of transferring silicone residue onto the workpiece.
This helps limit contact with unwanted chemicals and makes the gloves suitable for processes where avoiding silicone contamination of surfaces is important.
