The Housegard Pebble smoke alarm (model SA700), with its attractive Swedish design, is designed to detect smoke particles. When correctly installed and maintained, it provides an early warning of a developing fire. Carefully read the smoke alarm instructions and follow them.
The test button allows regular checks of operation, while a flashing red LED indicates that the alarm is operating.
A 9V battery is included and should be replaced approximately once a year. The smoke alarm also has a low-battery warning signal. A ceiling mounting bracket, screws and wall plugs are supplied for securing it to the ceiling. Five-year warranty (excluding battery).
To keep the smoke alarm working properly and prevent false alarms, regularly clean it with a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to remove accumulated dust and other particles from the sensing chamber.
