Highly breathable uppers

The breathable mesh uppers provide excellent air circulation around the feet. This helps maintain comfort and better foot hygiene throughout the day in warm weather or when working indoors.

BOA® quick fastening

The BOA® fastening system enhances both ease of use and safety by eliminating the risk of loose laces becoming caught. Putting the shoes on and taking them off is also easier, faster and more convenient. BOA® is strong and reliable. It has been tested in cold and heat, sand and mud. Beneath an abrasion-resistant nylon coating are 49 extremely fine steel wires; this assembly cannot be broken by human force alone.

Using BOA@ is simple: put on the shoes, press the dial and turn it until the shoes are securely fastened around the feet. The cable then maintains a consistent tension throughout the day. To remove the shoes, lift the dial to release the cable.

The BOA® fastening system is covered by a warranty lasting for the service life of the shoes.

Moisture-absorbing and breathable 3D lining

Inside these shoes is a breathable SANY DRY® lining with a three-dimensional (3D) structure. It absorbs and wicks away moisture and offers excellent abrasion resistance. Choosing precisely the right shoe size is important. It extends the service life of the shoes as a whole and the durability of individual components, keeps functional features in their intended positions and ensures optimum comfort.

Soft and comfortable self-adapting insole

These shoes feature an exceptionally soft and comfortable FOOT-PAD ESD insole. Its low-density PU construction allows it to adapt to the foot. It distributes body weight optimally to provide the best possible support for the body and feet. Excellent shock absorption is achieved through the shape of the outsole, a material with particularly good energy return and a cushioning pad in the centre of the heel.

Slip-resistant PU/TPU outsole

The lightweight PU/TPU outsole has a relatively smooth tread, excellent flexibility and low electrical resistance. The SR marking indicates slip resistance tested with glycerine on ceramic flooring. The thin PU/TPU surface layer of the outsole also resists fuels and oils (FO).

The outsole performs well on smoother, more even surfaces. It wears faster on gravel, crushed stone and similar or uneven surfaces. For such conditions, consider a model from our range with a deeper tread and a stronger, stiffer outsole compound. Some flexibility and lightness will be sacrificed, but the shoes will last longer on demanding and difficult surfaces.

Lightweight safety components

The lightweight aluminium safety toe cap protects against falling objects (200 J). A flexible, lightweight, metal-free APT PLATE penetration-resistant midsole with low electrical resistance (PL) protects against injuries caused by punctures (tested with a truncated conical nail with a diameter of 4.5 mm at a force of 1100 N).
