Cederroth Eye Wash helps neutralise the pH in the eye following splashes of alkalis or acids, achieving results more quickly than an ordinary sodium chloride solution. Its neutralising effect is generally stronger against alkalis than acids.
In the event of contact with a calcium-containing substance, such as cement, concrete or lime, Cederroth Eye Wash can be used safely because it is 100% phosphate-free. This helps ensure that the eye can be rinsed as effectively as possible.
