ABEBA open leather-strap clogs with cork footbed ESD SRC OB A FO
Ergonomic open shoes with smooth leather straps and a cork footbed are lightweight and comfortable. The abrasion-resistant Sanitized-treated lining is antibacterial, while the suede footbed is gentle on the skin.
The cork footbed is lightweight and natural, while the rubber outsole, resistant to oils, acids and fuels, provides good slip resistance (SRC) on oily and greasy floors. The adjustable leather straps have high-quality Velcro hook-and-loop fastenings.
Complies with EN ISO 20347:2012, OB, FO, A, SRC. ESD in accordance with DIN EN 61340.
The genuine-leather straps are durable and flexible. The adjustable straps have long-lasting Velcro hook-and-loop fastenings.
The cork footbed is lightweight, natural and comfortable against the skin. Cork is credited with a range of almost magical properties, so many customers like to wear these shoes barefoot, provided workplace hygiene rules allow it. The suede-covered footbed is ergonomic and skin-friendly.
The underside of the cork footbed is covered with a wear-resistant rubber layer that, together with a specially developed tread pattern, provides secure footing even on oily or greasy floors (SRC in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012). The durable rubber layer withstands hydrocarbons, fuels and acids.
Long-lasting ESD performance is one of ABEBA's strengths. All ABEBA ESD shoes belong to the highest category – climate class 1. Although sole materials lose some of their properties through wear over time, ABEBA soles made from high-quality, specially developed materials have very good abrasion resistance.
A good fit, comfort and high quality are particularly important in occupational footwear for people who spend most of the working day on their feet.
When standing, body weight and movements place considerable strain on the relatively small area of the feet. Although the body is well adapted to this (the foot has 20 muscles, 33 joints, 26 bones and hundreds of ligaments), it is important to help prevent discomfort.
The many nerve endings beneath the soles of the feet are also connected with several other organs, so foot health plays a major role in the functioning of the whole body.
Prolonged wear of unsuitable footwear may cause joint problems, hip and back pain, or even headaches, which people seldom associate with poor footwear. These problems usually develop slowly and unnoticed, so it makes sense to support the feet with good shoes from the outset.
ABEBA began operating in Germany more than 80 years ago and specialises in developing and manufacturing occupational footwear. Today it is Europe's manufacturer with the widest range of shoes and the best ESD properties. The company is not merely a brand name: it controls its own manufacturing and aims to produce comfortable, durable and attractive occupational shoes. Its quality footwear has been developed in cooperation with experienced orthopaedic specialists.
