WOOLPOWER Skilled thin low-cut merino wool socks
These thin yet durable, technically engineered merino wool socks fit closely and comfortably. They keep the feet warm, absorb moisture and resist unpleasant odours.
This is thanks to the unique properties of merino wool and the use of different knitting structures and techniques in different areas: mesh panels where the foot needs ventilation, denser knitting where support is needed, and so on.
Woolpower’s thin, low-cut socks fit snugly around the foot and stay comfortably in place.
For greater comfort, the toe seam is integrated into the fabric so that it cannot rub inside the shoe. Sizes and the Woolpower logo are knitted into the underside of the sole.
Woolpower products are recommended for wear directly against the skin to make the most of the soft, high-quality merino wool fabric. Wear several pairs of socks if necessary to increase insulation.
Woolpower has been making socks in Östersund, Sweden, since 1970. The company knows that keeping feet dry and warm is crucial in cold weather.
Wool is nature’s own functional fibre. Synthetic materials have not yet succeeded in replicating all its properties. Wool can absorb moisture amounting to up to 30% of its own weight without feeling wet against the skin. Even if the feet become thoroughly wet, wool continues to provide warmth.
Wool also has a useful self-cleaning property. Even when the feet sweat, the socks do not develop an unpleasant odour, so they do not need washing as frequently.
