The airy latex foam on palms and fingers remains soft even in severe sub-zero temperatures and provides excellent grip in both dry and wet conditions.

The brushed polyester lining feels soft against the hands and helps retain warmth because its brushed surface traps more insulating warm air.

Versatile gloves for protecting hands in cold weather. The exceptionally wide size range (5-12) includes sizes for children, women and men. Use them for jobs around the home, clearing snow, stacking firewood and other tasks, or at work.

These gloves are not waterproof so that the palm and finger coating can remain soft. Waterproof latex gloves tend to be stiff and cold and become even stiffer as temperatures fall. In such conditions they offer less effective protection and comfort for the hands.

Waterproofing is not always essential in winter gloves, since there is no liquid water outdoors at temperatures below 0 degrees. Breathability, however, is important: during active work it helps excess heat escape from the glove so that hands stay dry and warm for longer.

The bright yellow backs make the wearer more visible.

These are work gloves protecting the wearer against mechanical hazards (Cat 2), meaning that their protective properties have been tested.

It is sensible to have different gloves for different weather conditions. This might include extra-warm gloves for bitterly cold winter days (with Thinsulate® G120 insulation), gloves with slightly lighter insulation (Thinsulate G80 or G60) for temperatures between freezing and ten degrees below zero, and waterproof, breathable winter gloves for damp or wet conditions when the temperature rises above freezing.
