Synthetic leather may feel slippery when handling certain objects, such as metal pipes or planed timber. As an alternative, we recommend leather gloves such as article no. 44-315, which offer significantly better grip for only a small additional cost. Genuine leather gloves also fit better because the leather quickly adapts to the shape of the hand.

Try on leather gloves in the shop too (such as 44-315). They also feel light and comfortable, but their stated advantages only become clear in use, so try a pair and decide which gloves you prefer and which suit you best.

Anyone who works with their hands knows it would be most comfortable to work bare-handed, but this is not permitted where hands need protection from various hazards. High-quality leather work gloves come closest to the feel of bare hands.
