Nubuck leather and Cordura uppers

These mid-height safety boots support the ankles. The tough Cordura® uppers are reinforced with stylishly stitched-on panels of high-quality nubuck leather. A TPU toe reinforcement and reinforced heel counter increase durability and extend the footwear’s service life. A textile pull loop makes the boots easier to put on, and reflective piping at the heel improves visibility in low light.

100% waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane

Beneath the nubuck leather and Cordura® uppers is a waterproof Goretex® membrane, making the footwear 100% waterproof. Gore-Tex® is the best material yet for offering both 100% waterproofness and breathability.

It is worth knowing that very active work can eventually exceed the material’s ability to release excess heat quickly enough, causing feet to sweat. To maintain comfort and good foot health, thin merino wool socks are recommended: they absorb moisture, resist unpleasant odours and retain a dry feeling for longer. Merino wool can absorb moisture equivalent to up to 30% of its weight and still feel dry. Wool also keeps feet warm when wet, so damp feet do not pose a risk of illness.

Reliable and comfortable BOA® quick fastening

The Boa® fastening system improves footwear security, stability, ease of use, durability and safety. Boa® has been tested in the most extreme conditions: water and sand, mud and dust, cold and heat, and withstands them all.

Putting the shoes on and taking them off is quick and easy, even with one hand or while wearing work gloves. Boa® holds the shoes evenly and securely throughout the working day and allows precise micro-adjustment to the foot. There are no loose laces that could catch on anything, improving safety. Six strong textile eyelets guide the cable smoothly.

The strong steel cable consists of 49 extremely fine stainless-steel strands covered with a durable nylon coating. The Boa® fastening system carries a warranty for the lifetime of the footwear.

Durable Vibram® sole

The Vibram® Arctic Grip Pro rubber outsole is durable and features visible slip-resistant elements. The dual-layer (PU + ETPU) midsole provides good shock absorption and helps retain warmth.
Inside the boots is an EVA insole covered with abrasion-resistant fabric that wicks moisture away.

Protective components

The boots have a fibreglass safety toe cap and a lightweight, flexible textile puncture-resistant midsole. The metal-free protective components do not conduct heat or cold and help reduce the weight of the footwear.
