Even more stretch

These work trousers are made entirely from stretch fabrics. The checked ripstop main fabric is tough, tear-resistant, breathable and flexible. It also contains recycled Sorona® fibre.

The crotch features strong yet 4-way stretch CORDURA®. Stretch CORDURA® is also used from the knees to the lower edge, on the holster pockets, across the seat and halfway down the back of the thighs, and on the thigh pockets.

Durable

All the fabrics used are stretchy yet highly durable. Stretch CORDURA® deserves particular mention: known for its toughness, it is now also elastic.

Snickers work trousers are renowned for their strong seams. At the end of their service life, the fabric around a seam may be worn through while the stitching remains intact and strong. It takes considerable force, a spark, a strong chemical or scissors to damage these seams.

The inside leg seams, for example, are stitched five times. At the crotch there is no junction of four seams, often a weak point in trousers. Instead, an elastic gusset provides extra room, freedom of movement and overall durability. More than 120 reinforcement stitches at various points add strength.

Detachable holster pockets

The new FlexiWork trousers feature detachable holster pockets. It is a simple but important improvement that many workwear users have been waiting for. The pockets are made from durable CORDURA®, helping prevent damage from small sharp-edged objects.

Zipped ventilation openings on the inner thighs

A clever innovation in these breathable work trousers is the zipped ventilation openings on the inner thighs. Open the zips when it gets hot to improve airflow. Strong mesh fabric beneath the zips is durable and prevents the zip tape from rubbing against the thighs.

KneeGuard™ knee protection

The KneeGuard™ system, together with the stretch fabric above the knees, keeps kneepads in the optimum position during every movement.

Snickers Workwear kneepads can be placed at two different heights in the knee pockets to suit the wearer's knees. The KneeGuard™ knee protection system is certified to EN14404. Certification applies only when Snickers Workwear kneepads and trousers are used together.
