Developed in collaboration with OrganoTex®, this effective treatment is an easy-to-use, biodegradable and PFC-free product for restoring the water repellency of textiles.
Durable water repellency
Maximise garments’ water repellency while preserving the fabric’s breathability, colour and structure. Suitable for restoring the waterproof properties of outerwear, including membrane fabrics such as Gore-Tex.
Biodegradable
Effective textile impregnation inspired by nature’s own chemistry. Contains no fluorocarbons (PFAS, PFOS, PFOA), cyclic siloxanes or isocyanates and is readily biodegradable according to the OECD301A test. Water-based, with organic silicone polymers, natural fatty acids, non-ionic and anionic surfactants, and zirconium acetate. Winner of the 2018 Scandinavian Outdoor Sustainability Award.
Easy to use
Easy to apply in a short washing-machine cycle; the best results are obtained on synthetic fabrics such as polyester and polyamide. One 500 ml bottle is sufficient for 5-7 garments.
- Wash the garments as usual in accordance with their care instructions and rinse thoroughly. Do not use fabric softener.
- Shake the bottle vigorously. Pour 100 ml of the contents into the detergent compartment. This is enough for one garment. Add 50 ml for each additional garment. Treat a maximum of three garments at once.
- Use a short programme (delicates) at 30-40, rinsing thoroughly.
- For best results, tumble dry or use a drying cabinet (60 degrees). Alternatively, leave to air dry for 24 hours.
Warning! Do not use this treatment on flame-retardant protective clothing or other garments certified as category III under the Personal Protective Equipment Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
Causes serious eye irritation! Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective eyewear. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice.
