The Safety knife has a rounded blade tip to help prevent injuries. It is strong, sharp and durable.
The cutting edge of the 2.5 mm thick blade is sharpened in several stages, with the final honing carried out using a leather strop. The carbon-steel blade is made from Japanese knife steel and hardened to 58-60 HRC.
The handle and knife sheath are made from exceptionally durable PP plastic. The unique sheath was designed together with the developers of Snickers Workwear trousers and attaches to a special concealed button on the trousers. This keeps the knife within easy reach without interfering with work. The sheath can also be attached to a belt. For a thick belt, cut away the narrow plastic strip on the inside of the attachment clip.
