COFRA Thunder Boa® safety ankle boots S3 ESD SRC
The water-repellent uppers of these antistatic safety shoes are made from 100% ecological PET material. The environmentally friendly shoes also feature the BOA® fastening system, a breathable, antibacterial Sany-Dry lining, insoles and some outsole components made from recycled polyester, a high-quality PU/TPU outsole, an aluminium toe cap and an APT textile penetration-resistant midsole with low electrical resistance.
These shoes are particularly suitable for work in microelectronics. They have an aluminium toe cap (200 J) and a metal-free textile penetration-resistant midsole (Zero Perforation). These shoes also have a more densely woven penetration-resistant outsole than before. Even a nail with a diameter of 3 mm (with a 1 mm² tip) cannot penetrate it. Most safety shoes on the market protect against sharp objects with a diameter of at least 4.5 mm.
The innovative BOA® fastening system improves comfort and safety. There are no loose laces that might come undone and catch on something. Putting on and taking off the shoes is easier than ever. Boa® is strong, secure and simple to use: lift the dial to release the sturdy nylon-coated steel cable, then put on the shoe, press the dial down and turn it clockwise until the shoe fits securely. BOA® holds the shoes comfortably and firmly throughout the working day. BOA® advantages also include even tension and excellent durability (the steel cable does not break). The shoes have a wide last: 11 mondopoint. The soft, breathable Eco-Tech insoles, made from recycled polyurethane, are anatomical, antistatic and pleasantly scented. The fabric covering absorbs moisture and helps keep feet dry. The lightweight PU/TPU outsole has low electrical resistance (ESD) and resists many oils and chemicals.
