Lightweight LightTech construction

COFRA Fond safety ankle boots are part of the new LightTech range. Their construction combines advanced materials and protection, including an aluminium toe cap, textile puncture protection, ESD properties and a biomechanical insole.

Durable, breathable TechShell upper

The upper features innovative TechShell fabric, designed for exceptional durability. It resists both abrasion and tearing, helping the footwear withstand the mechanical demands of daily work.

TechShell is both water-repellent and breathable. The outer lining also uses breathable fabric. Together these materials combine durability and moisture protection with air permeability.

Boa® quick fastening

The Boa® Fit System makes fastening fast, precise and comfortable. It consists of a micro-adjustable dial, a strong lightweight lace and abrasion-resistant guides.

The dial allows fine incremental adjustments to the fit. The lightweight yet exceptionally strong lace ensures reliability, while the guides allow smooth movement every time.

Boa® provides a consistent, personalised fit throughout the working day. The system has been tested in dust, sand and dirt.

The Boa® fastening system is warranted for the lifetime of the footwear.

Sany-Dry lining and Light Foam insole

Inside the boot is a three-dimensional Sany-Dry lining made from 100% polyester fabric. The breathable lining absorbs moisture and helps move it away from the foot, keeping feet drier during wear.

Sany-Dry is highly abrasion-resistant, an important feature in regularly used work footwear.

The Light Foam ESD insole is made from very soft, comfortable scented polyurethane foam and offers low electrical resistance. Its perforated design promotes breathability and moisture transfer.

The anatomically shaped biomechanical insole supports the arch, while its abrasion-resistant fabric covering absorbs moisture and helps keep feet dry. The soft material cushions walking impacts and improves wearing comfort. 

Aluminium toe cap and textile puncture protection

The FOND model features an ALUMINIUM 200 J toe cap that withstands an impact energy of up to 200 J.

A Footwear Protection Textile midsole protects the sole of the foot. An additional Scuff cap reinforces the toe area against abrasion.

Heat-resistant ESD outsole

The outsole combines EVA and nitrile rubber. The nitrile rubber withstands temperatures up to +300 °C during one minute of contact. The sole has low electrical resistance and the footwear offers ESD properties.
